About our Therapists:

Rick Sullivan: My massage background started when I was a student
in the Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program at Mt Hood Community
College. It was during this time as a student that saw how people with
injuries responded so positively to massage. After graduating from the
PTA program in 1996, I began taking massage classes at both East-West
College of the Healing Arts and The Oregon School of Massage. I was
licensed as a Massage Therapist by the State of Oregon in 1998.
My focus with massage is on relaxation, with the belief
that by relaxing the body, the body often is able to heal itself.

Greg Mitchell: Having worked massage on family and friends since
high school, I chose to further my skills by attending classes
part-time at both Oregon School of Massage and East-West School of
Massage beginning in 1997. I completed the State required 550 hour LMT
degree program from East-West. In 2001 I began practicing massage
professionally under the name GMBodywork and continue to practice
massage part-time at Laurelhurst Massage Therapy. My style is deep and
mindful, as my focus is to aid muscle tissue to release tension,
allowing the body to relax and heal itself, which helps the mind let go
of stress.
